You payed for college, now you should pay for leads to customers. Learning to resource your community is what a thinking person does. Happiness is exactly what communities produce and exchanges joyfully. True wealth reaches beyond our individual households. A community is exactly what it produces.

Black Americans of post slavery maintained a community at the cost of fast progression into an already established White economy and community. Colleges were established to assist in the transition. More options appeared to be available, with options comes the need for strategy. Strategy has been the last frontier for Black Americans.

As we proceed into citizenry, we must make choices that either make money and/or cost money. In terms of learning communities, school cost and not making money cost. Basically, you can lose money paying for school and you will lose money without an income. Lost boys learned this lesson on the streets and generated income by any means.

The OL’SKOOLED practice here is reciprocity or trading with mutual benefit. The so called, lost youth are trained in the streets and from day one, found ways to profit from their communities. Responsible elders have always had an opportunity to encourage the youth through council. As it is, a generational disconnect exist between Black youth and their elders.

OL’SKOOLED proposes this gap could be closed and a bridge formed with community trade. Elders can support and encourage community youth who will be trained to serve yet generate income. Technology has enabled groups to work with each other without fear of financial sabotage or undercutting. Organization and administration have also been burdens for Black Americans to establish group economics.

Leads are business exchanges with familiar participants. The cost of a lead is small compared to not thinking and blindly being lead by a former oppressor. Pursuit of happiness is not an individual journey but an exchange that improves the lives of those around you.
