Sometimes you must stand on what you believe; on occasions it puts you alone in a hole. During those down challenging times we reflect on those who took time to teach and paved the way. Do you feel that if you had a chance to communicate with the old school grandmas and aunties, into the eyes of those you deeply respected, who have passed and are gone, you would be able to say, “I made you proud” or “we did good?” Then realize that behind all the no, wait and stop statements, Love was behind it all an ode to grandma.
